Remixes brings together ten of the best Faux Pas remixes from the last five years. Keen followers of Faux Pas will be familiar with some of them, such as the lush, psychedelic reworking of Pikelet's "Bug-in-Mouth" from 2007; the glorious space-disco version of Dream Kit's "Cosmic Strut" from 2010; or last year's stuttery funk deconstruction of Gotye and Kimbra's "Somebody That I Used To Know."

These favourites sit alongside some brand new, previously unreleased material - a fresh-from-the-studio remix of Caitlin Park, which envelopes the Sydney songwriter's sensual husky voice amongst evocative jazz flourishes and cascading piano blooms; a shamelessly bouyant Yello-meets-"yacht rock" reworking of Melbourne electro troubadour Super Melody (a.k.a. ex-Architecture in Helsinki member James Cecil); plus a balearic remix of New York DJ duo Worst Friends that shifts gears midway from plaintive guitar contemplation to gritty electro-funk.

All lovingly remastered by Simon Davey at London's The Exchange studios. The incredible artwork for the album is courtesy of Sydney illustrator Aldous Massie.

Thank you to all of the bands involved for letting me into your worlds.
-Tim
